Film and Workshop: The Water Front
Reception - 6:30 Movie starts at 7 pm.

The Water Front, a documentary film detailing the plight of Highland Park residents fighting to preserve their basic human right to safe, affordable water, will be shown at 6:30pm on Friday, May 11th at the Highland Park Community High School Auditorium in Highland Park. The film is by filmmaker Liz Miller with the support of Michigan Welfare Rights, the Water Department, and the Highland Park community.
Dedication to Highland Park "water warriors" Gloria Pogue and Vallory Johnson by local poet/ activist Will Copeland. Discussion of film. Evening facilitated by Will Copeland. Update on the Highland Park and Detroit's ongoing water problems.
